2019-07-06 Brussels, Tour de France, Amsterdam

Woke up and went for a run in Brussels. Tricky as many streets cordoned off for the Tour de France.

After breakfast & packing our stuff, we realized that our street was also blocked off and we could get out. Alisa and I had to muscle a concrete block out of the way in order to get the car out!

After that, we parked the car, walked to the end of the street, only to learn the Tour de France was starting in a few minutes, so we waited and saw the riders come through a few minutes later. Walked the city a bit, then hit the road to Amsterdam.

Our Airbnb here is up four flights of the steepest stairs I've ever seen!

Early morning view of Brussels

Het Zinneke, one of a trio of humorous peeing statues in the city (the other 2 are a boy and a girl), was right across the street from our AirBnB.

Waiting for The Tour to come through

And there they go!
