Supposed to fly out of PDX at noon, our flight left at 1:40, so we *almost* missed a connection in Calgary. Calgary to Frankfurt flight was long, but uneventful. Kids of course stayed up the whole time, resulting in Matthew crashing REALLY hard at the end of that leg. Then a few hours in Frankfurt, and then on to Rome.
Of course, 2 of our 5 bags didn't make that tight connection, and so we headed to our AirBnB, bags location... unknown!
